Betting on Bitcoin: Drake gives away $1 million in crypto with Stake Casino

If anyone understands the power of Bitcoin, Drake does, and he makes the cryptocurrency work for him. The musician has placed many Bitcoin bets and even gave away $1 million in crypto with Stake Casino.

Drake is no stranger to the world of cryptocurrency, and recently, he made excited fans very happy while streaming with Stake.com on Twitch.

In the first-ever instalment of Stake vs Drake, the rapper joined the popular crypto casino on Twitch and played some of his favourite casino games.

While placing bets in Bitcoin, Drake managed to win a massive $18 million on Speed Roulette. In total, throughout the stream, he had a bad run and lost almost $20 million – but it was all in the name of fun.

Drake gives away $1 million in Bitcoin

During the Twitch stream, random viewers were selected as Bitcoin winners. Drake then contacted the winners via video call and told them that they had won 2.6 BTC – around $75,000 in cash!

The winners were from all around the world, including Argentina, India, Mexico and Brazil. In total, Drake gave away a total of 35 Bitcoins worth almost $1 million.

Stake.com hinted that there will be future collaborations with the star soon.

Betting on Bitcoin, Drake doesn’t hold back

During this year alone, Drake has won and lost a hefty sum in Bitcoin. Drake placed a massive bet on the Los Angeles Rams winning the Super Bowl in February via Stake.com. He earned a cool $1.4 million in Bitcoin as his payout when he won.

Drake had placed two bets during the Super Bowl. One bet was worth $472,364, and it paid out $713,244 in Bitcoin. The second bet was for Beckham Jr to score at least one touchdown. The rapper spent $393,636 and won $846,288.

Fast forward to March, Drake lost $275,000 when he bet on American MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal to win during a UFC 272 event. It just goes to show that even celebrities have to rely on luck to be a winner.
