Bought out by Playtech in 2016, Quickspin has enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in recent years. It makes perfect sense that the developer’s first foray into Megaways Slots would come courtesy of one of its most popular titles.

Released in 2013, the original Big Bad Wolf slot was a huge hit, winning EGR’s ‘Game of the Year’ award in the year of its release. A Christmas special followed in 2020, proving that there was still an appetite for more Big Bad Wolf (and the little pigs, naturally).

Megaways Slots were initially developed by Big Time Gaming but have since been licenced

to several other carefully chosen game developers. A form of video slots, Megaways games use six reels that can accommodate two-seven symbols apiece. An additional horizontal reel is sometimes included, allowing for another four symbols. At their full capacity, with seven symbols on each reel, Megaways slots offer up to 117,649 ways to win. Sometimes, such as with an additional reel, it can be even more. Players can therefore look forward to landing many more small wins.

That is not the only feature that makes Megaways slots special. Just as in other video slots, you can also find features including unlimited multipliers, free spins, tumbling reels, and bonus games.
