Software provider Microgaming is celebrating more milestones for its popular jackpot slot network.

Over €115 million has been paid out on games like Mega Moolah since the start of 2020. To add to this landmark total, seven millionaires have been created during the past seven months alone.

Releasing the data in a press release, Microgaming Jackpot slots have now paid out over €1.2 billion since their inception. Here are the full details of payouts to date:

John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming, was thrilled with the news, exclaiming:

With total lifetime payouts exceeding €1.2 billion, Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has had an outstanding year to date, driven by a number of new game releases, including Wheel of Wishes, Atlantean Treasures and Absolootly Mad.

Mr Coleman also shared that over 2.5 million jackpots had been paid out this year - with eight payouts on average every minute.

Microgaming also announced that over 550+ players have won prizes worth over €10,000 during the year.

Since the start of the year, seven millionaires have won on Microgaming's jackpot network, with shared winnings of over €30 million.

The latest recorded win is at Spin Casino, where an unnamed UK player won €1.6 million on Major Millions Progressive from a €3 wager. Like all Microgaming jackpot prizes, this sum will be paid out in a single lump payment - unlike other jackpot networks.
