How to play Lightning Baccarat
Lightning Baccarat is a baccarat game where players can back a Banker, Player or Tie outcome. Whichever side is closest to the hand value 9 is declared the winner - unless each side has the same hand value, resulting in a draw (or Tie).
The major change to the gameplay is the RNG multipliers, which are applied before each hand is dealt. Up to 5 Lightning Cards will be select to receive multipliers between 2x and 8x.
If a Lightning Card forms a part of a hand, then any bets on that hand will receive the multiplier prize. To be eligible for a multiplier, you have to be betting on the hand that receives the multiplier boost.
Multipliers also apply to the Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets.
Side Bets
Lightning Baccarat comes with two side bets - each of which can receive the multiplier payout of the Lightning Cards.
Player Pair: Bet on the probability that the player will have a pair - pays 9:1
Banker Pair: Bet on the probability that the banker will have a pair - pays 9:1
Lightning Fee
To pay for the multiplier prizes, Evolution has added a 20% Lightning Fee to all bets.
The fee is not optional and will be applied to your bet, regardless of the value.
For example, if you bet £1 on a round, the bet will appear as £1.20.
Lightning Baccarat Verdict
Lightning Baccarat is yet another exciting entry in the Lightning Series. Theoretically, the game comes with stacks of winning potential. But as with all Lightning games - hitting those juicy multipliers is a different story. There's also the addition of the Lightning Fee - meaning this game costs 20% more than other baccarat tables - and you might not hit the multiplier. Tie bet payouts being slashes is another downside.
